love that feathered elephant you have that'll work for peanuts. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, you shot the second one of Killdeer so perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThey are all very nice, but that second image of the Killdeer is spectacular.
ReplyDeleteGreat birds, I just love the cute Killdeer.
ReplyDeleteExcellent photo set. Very nicely captured.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week-end.
Wonderful shots.. good to see the sunny side is now open water.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots, thanks for taking us on your walk! Love the killdeer.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful selection of birdlife you have - and I have to say that it still looks rather frigid in your part of the world. I think "brrrr" when I see that snow and ice. I particularly love the little kildeer with it's stripy scarf - it's a very striking bird.
ReplyDeleteBribes when resulting in good things :)
ReplyDeleteWow, lots of beauty around you, Gary.
ReplyDeleteI love the last photo in particular, but it's also nice to see the pair of mallards. We saw lots of them in Europe. Just returned from a month-long trip, so have to catch up on my commenting. Glad to see you and Boom are still blogging.

ReplyDeleteGreat shots, we are patiently waiting for the lakes to open In Algonquin park. some smaller rivers are flowing and the Beaver are out & about. The Shaggy Moose are already along the roadways browsing on whatever they can find till the ditches start producing the mineral rich early growth of cattails and such!!!!!But they are calling for snow tomorrow....April always has such a Mixed Bag of surprises!!!!!!Give Boomer a big hug....are you as cute as he?????....LOL
ReplyDeleteHi Gary...and Boomer,
ReplyDeleteWonderful set of images!
I especially enjoy seeing the Killdeer. I've watched closely but so far haven't seen any. They like to nest in my gravel driveway and have the past two years.
Beautiful shots documenting the arrival of spring. Your area looks like mine did a little over a month ago. Spring will move forward quickly for you now.
ReplyDeleteWhat incredible eye candy for us this weekend for critters Gary! Loved all you photos.
