This is a series of photos from my recent excursions. The hikes were made around the weather as winter does not leave here as quickly as in other areas. We have no moderating ocean currents or Great Lakes to influence our climate.

    super post Gary. Anyone reading this must be inspired to put on their walking boots and get out. Lovely images shoing off the wildlife and the great habitat.... in complete contrast to my day out yesterday visiting the coast over looking the sheer cliff faces...As I say a complete contrast but no less spectacular as your lovely wild and rugged countryside

    Great photos!
    My boat is called "fembøring" in norwegian, and the sail is a "råseil", I don´t know the english words.

    That certainly looks beautiful. I know what you mean about winter not leaving quickly - this time of year can be crazy where I live, with warm dry weather one day and a blizzard the next.
