Aquatics, Warblers, Beaver, and Other Wildlife of The Vermilon River.

Thanks to everyone who commented on Boomer's Memorial Post. It helped, although I still miss him desperately. To keep me busy, I've been in the woods. As well I bought a new camera and have been learning to use it, as well as shooting some video. The video's (one) are posted on a second site; click here to see if you wish: Part 2 Me,Boomer and rhe Vermilon River. Opposite Yellow-Rumped Warbler.

The Beaver shots are just luck as the River is still high, and the Beaver are not always where they're suppose to be.

A Memorial to My Friend and Companion, Boomer Of The Vermilon River.

This is the most difficult of all posts, and indeed, of all articles that I have ever written. Boomer went to   Wildlife Valhalla on Thursday, May 23,2013. I miss him desperately.

A post to:Id Rather be Birdin,Our World Tuesday, and WBW . I'll post to the memes, but I'm not certain if I'll follow most of them this time. Right now its easier to be in the forest where Boom and I wandered for fun.

More Strange Weather At The Vermilon River

I put this post together on Friday,so I'll probably post it early. We got the freezing rain which was followed by snow, 26 cm. just to the north of us. The Evening Grosbeaks visited my feeders and drove the Grackles off. There are a lot of photos so click and view the slide show. The small butterfly is a blue azure about the size of your thumb nail. He is a vivid blue on his top side which I can't seem to get.

A post to: I'd Rather Be Birdin,Our World Tuesday, and WBW.
