Black-Capped Chickadees of the Vermilon River. A Post to Scenic Sunday

I've said before that Boom & I shoot a lot of photos, partially I think, because we live in a wilderness and have plenty of oppportunities. So I collect a lot of files of unpublished work and some are even still on memory cards. So with very little text here are some my favourite bird.

  2. Black-capped chickadees are proof that we often judge by looks. It looks sweet and cute. Sometime it even is. I love its courage.
By-the-way, I told my mother's husky all about Boomer, how he writes his own blog. I was trying to encourage Vixen to start her own blog about caring for an 88 year old human.

  6. The cute little dickens! They are one of my very favorite birds too. I usually don't like to tame the wild critters and am very careful, around my yard to not try to get closer to them. I'll even, on occasion, chase the deer and the turkeys so that they learn that humans are fearsome critters and they don't become easy prey for hunters. But, I'm really tempted to try and get the chickadees to feed from my hand this year. After all, no one is going to hunt them.
