    Wow, they are big piggies. They sure can stuff a lot of peanuts into their beaks. Great captures.

    that last shot is gorgeous! i've started throwing out dog food under the bird feeder tree (thanks to Abraham Lincoln's advice). They love it and stuff their beaks full.

    I can't believe that bird fitted THREE peanuts in their shell into his beak. That's a great survival skill to have. I'm rather fond of the birds in the crow family as well - they are such clever, resourceful survivors.

    These are great. My favorite is the 1st capture...he looks ready to take on the world. (I guess he would be too after that large of a lunch;))

    Some crows are nesting in my neighbor's tree. There's been some strange noises coming from them. I can't wait to hear the chicks.

    Crows are such smart birds. Interesting social life, but very cautious, which makes them difficult to observe. I usually just see them walking around on a field. You are fortunate yours are so tame.
