Aquatics, Warblers, Beaver, and Other Wildlife of The Vermilon River.

Thanks to everyone who commented on Boomer's Memorial Post. It helped, although I still miss him desperately. To keep me busy, I've been in the woods. As well I bought a new camera and have been learning to use it, as well as shooting some video. The video's (one) are posted on a second site; click here to see if you wish: Part 2 Me,Boomer and rhe Vermilon River. Opposite Yellow-Rumped Warbler.

The Beaver shots are just luck as the River is still high, and the Beaver are not always where they're suppose to be.
A post to: Id Rather B Birdin,Our World Tuesday, and WBW. Remember click any photo to activate the slide show.

  3. glad you're moving along Gary and good to see you posting again. Have noted your comments here and there.... You are in a differing phase of life, changes happen inevitably and switching your focus somewhere knew is what we need to do to take our mind in new spaces again. That you have bought a new camera is a good thing for your soul and experimenting with it out in the places you so enjoy will offer new energy. Take care -----

  17. Hi Gary

These are some of the nicest photos you have posted, I think, and you have posted some lovely ones in the past. The first photo of the beaver is unbelievable, I also thought the Redstarts especially the one playing coy and the Goldfinch were quite exceptional.

    All the best.

  39. Back again...I always come back to your posts wherever I see you linked because there is so much to admire. Actually after the first time I was here, I got to thinking about how a beaver could have possibly gnawed that tree up so high and I meant to come back right away to see if I remembered right; I missed the explanation about the high water before. So...happy to be back and have that cleared up in my mind as well as seeing your birds and beavers and flowers again.
