I've been trying to get some photos of these little fellows for quite a time. But with their brown and buff colours, and timid character they're tough to catch site of. They're easily confused with the Verrey and Swanson's thrush. Their song is incredible, and in a burst of whimsy, the ROM Bird Guide says they're the inspiration of poets and musicians.
