More Black-Capped Chickadees of the Vermilon River-A Post to Camera Critters # 142
These are more views of these marvelous, playful guys who visit with Boomer and I in the woods or at home. Boomer and I are just waiting for the roast of pork to finish so we can put Christmas lunch/dinner together, so I thought I 'd post these fellows to wish everyone the best possible Season's Greetings.

What delightful visitors!
ReplyDeleteTo: ladyfi: Yes they are and thanks for your visit.
ReplyDeleteA nice little bird.
ReplyDeleteTo Bob: They're actually a northern standard. Always around no matter the temperature or weather, and always cheerful.
ReplyDeleteI love chick-a-dees, they are always so polite at the feeder, grabbing a seed and moving elsewhere to eat it.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots.
ReplyDeleteTo Mike: Thanks for the kind words. They really are fun birds.
ReplyDeleteTo IGW: They are favourites of Boom and I. Thanks for the visit.
ReplyDeleteThey are our constant companions in these snow bound realms and it occurs to me they have the same white on gray on black color scheme as Boom!
ReplyDeleteWonderful little birds. I hope you both had a good Christmas.
ReplyDeleteTo Springman: You're right except for the beige, they're monochromatic just like boom.
ReplyDeleteTo Julian: We had a great Christmas and thanks for the visit.
ReplyDeleteI love these little birds. They are always at our feeder. Nice shots. I find them hard to photograph because they are always flitting around.
ReplyDeleteHi Karen: They are great and they certainly are flighty.
ReplyDeleteI love those little chickadees. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteTo Carver: Thanks for the kind comments.
