ReplyDeleteGary, your images are always so wonderful. What a great place you live to be able to take these wonderful pictures. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteNice pictures. I love those beautiful landscapes and reflections that make symmetries. The exceptional pigeon shoot. Greetings.
ReplyDeleteHi there - great set of shots - really like the Northern Crow - black birds are so hard to get the exposure for.
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Australia
Fantastic bird photos. I love too how the sky is reflected in the water, esp. the top photo.
ReplyDeleteYou rally have a wonderful wild life around you, but my, the scenery with the reflection are gorgeous. Still my favorite picture will be the one of the preening cedar waxwing.... I love waxwing. Beautiful collection of pictures Gary!
ReplyDeleteI have a stunning painting of a cedar waxwing, but I have never seen one in "real" life, although I have been told they are in our area.
ReplyDeleteGreat series of photos Gary.
Gill
nice birds.
ReplyDeleteA lovely walk in your woods (both days of it!) Every picture always wonderful, my very favorite is the chickadee in flight. I love those little guys and think it's remarkable that you were able to get such a good picture of one flying.
ReplyDeleteInspired by your blog, I went out yesterday and patiently waited by a tree that a group of chickadees were playing in, trying to get a good shot. I was close enough to enjoy the birds wity my own eyes, but alas, the camera just couldn't zoom in close enough.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sallie, I was thinking to say just like she, when I saw that last photo:)
ReplyDeleteWonderful landscapes and reflections as those perfect bird photos.
It must be exciting to see the transformation of the water from rusty brown to that lovely shade of turquoise!
ReplyDeleteStunning reflections in a beautiful setting! And love the macro of the blue jay's face! A real little character!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy every photo Gary - they are all wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThe reflections are beautiful!
ReplyDeletesuch a beautiful landscape and the birds are all gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHi Gary
ReplyDeleteI am not sure what I love more your scenery shots with the lovely blue water or the wonderful bird shots of the preening Waxwing and the flying Chickadee. One of my favorite posts.
Thanks
Guy
Beautiful scenic place. Excellent shots of the birds.
ReplyDeleteWow! The shots of reflections are too good.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are always amazing, but what a beautiful area you live in. I have to admit that I am partial to the wood ducks. I am hoping that my wood duck nestling box will stay starling free long enough for wood ducks to use it as I love to see the little woodies...Michelle
ReplyDeleteLove the shots of the bluejay. Beautiful photos once again-- you are surrounded by nature's beauty!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful landscapes and birds !
ReplyDeleteWonderful blue water and skies! And such clarity in your bird shots. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for your kind words!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
