Some Rapids Of The Vermilon River

Beginning of Rapids

The River Comes Together

Abandoned Bridge Abutments
This trail is an abandoned RR right of way ( with the ties and rails) removed on the west side of the River. The right of way bisects the river and makes for numerous wetlands and isolated watery areas that house ducks, geese and herons, and some animals including bears, that are attracted by the berry bushes. I'm short on ducks in my albums and it's because ducks tend to congregate on the far side of the wetlands and you've now seen how big the wetlands are. Now I've got this trail I can get those mallards and mergansers. The abandoned bridge abutments make for a great bench for lunch.
