Still Hiking the Abandoned RR Track of the Vermilon River. A Post to World Bird Wednesday.

 Still on the same trail as the previous post. Remember the hike ends because the bridge was removed when the track was taken out. The water is stained a copper colour from minerals in the rock, as you can see from the rock islands in the photo.  The river is an old meandering river, and there are side wetlands or little lakes, as it frequently goes around rock islands as shown in the first photos. It would be unusual to see anyone on these trails except for the person who maintains the forest feeding stations.
