The five day rain, maybe six, has ended, but the sunny forecast doesn't seem to hold all day as I found out on my first hike of the week, that is yesterday. The sun stays out for a while, and then the clouds return. But the forest is a proliferation of colours. This post is not in any order but if it's foggy, it's early in the morning. The first shot is the upper River and the second the rapids.

All of the forest wild sunflowers are gone, but these are in my garden. I face east, so they're slower blooming, and they have to grow out to avoid the building overhang. They're about eight feet tall.
