 Not only were the Purple Finches intermixed with House Finches but there were more females than males.

    Thanks Julian,I can't believe the colours. Wait until you see the House Finches, They're raspberry in colour.

    We have some house finches in our yard.... love their little songs.....they seem to like our bird bath.....
